Memorial Day weekend

Hey Boppy! It's Memorial Day weekend and we have a 3 day weekend together! Right now you are sleeping in your bed...it is 9:23 am! You tried to wake up at 6 but Mommy wasn't having any of that. I'm glad that i walked you into your bedroom cause your entire bed was soaking wet with leftover milk you never drank last night! I changed your covers and you, and plopped you right down so that we could enjoy a few more hours of sleep.

This last week we have had some fun. First let's start off with the Season Finale of American Idol...COnversations between Ryan Seacrest (RC) announcing and Hailee(BOP) answering...

RC: And this year's American Idol is...

BOP: ADAM LAMBERT!

RC: Kris Allen!

BOP: NNNNNOOOOOOOOO!

Followed by much much crying that you wanted Adam to win! You had such a love hate relationship with Adam Lambert. YOu thought he was the best yet you said he "sang like a woman" that daddy's "shouldn't wear earrings, and that boys do not "wear pan nolish" (Hailee's word for nail polish). Don't worry, Adam will make it big and you may be on stage right next to him with the major theatrics you possess!

Last weekend Kendyl, Aunt Heather, and Uncle Kevin came over for hamburgers and hot dogs...of course we did the BBQing and they brought all the extras...we are ALWAYS borrowing from them! I'm so glad we are neighbors or else who would we borrow from! You and Kendyl played on the slip and slide with Hunter and his friends. It was a nice day outside and we all enjoyed watching you two run around.

Last night we had another BBQ! Grandma Rita spent the night, Auntie Marysol and Uncle Scott, Andrew, Sofia, Grandma Leslie, and Grandpa Bob came over! Then, you got to meet the newest sweetest member of the family...Tessa Mae! She is Your god sister...Auntie Cherlene and Uncle Eric's new little baby girl! She was so cute and you were so nice and gentle with her. I was very proud of how much you wanted to help her and how sweet you were with her. Now I know what to expect when we finally give you a new baby sister or brother.

Uncle Kevin noticed that you two were very quiet in your room...when he went to check you out, this is what he found....two cousins laying down in your bed! Look and Kendyl...that is how she pretends to close her eyes.

I also found some pictures of you and Ashton from when they were here is April for Grandma Fiorina's funeral. Mommy was so busy that weekend I never got to take many pictures. When we are in Texas this summer, we will be picture takin fools!
