Scary Bop

Yesterday, you and I were leaving the house. I was packing my car with stuff I needed for work and you were playing in the drivers seat. I heard you lock the doors and I tried to unlock them from the passanger side but it didn't work! Then the housekeeper was talking to ma and I got sidetracked. I shut your door and the front passanger door and guess what.....???? You got locked in the car! You were so good while you waited in your seat for Daddy to bring his keys to us. You sat strapped in your chair and ate your banana like a good girl! Mama is going to see the dealer to see if we can get a few extra keys made to keep around the house! Well Bop, Mama is almost done fixing up her classroom for next year! Pretty soon we can enjoy the summer days without any stress( on Mama's part).

NO MORE BINKY! On Tuesday night, we could not find your Binky so I told you to go to sleep without it! You cried for a long time but eventually fell asleep. In the morning, I praised you and promised you a treat for being a big girl. You wanted a sucker from the "sucker store" (Party City). Man, I got off cheap. You even didn't use one at Cynthia's house! You were very proud of yourself too until it was time to go to sleep....when you started asking for the binky. I reminded you that you are a big girl now and you of course said "Well I'm not that big yet!" You got to sleep with me in my bed cause Daddy took Hunter camping for the night. You tossed and turned and Whined until 4 in the morning! At one point, you said, " I can't DO THIS!" Mama feels so bad for you on the inside. We have had this conversation before. Listening to you breathe while you suck on your binky brings me back to when you were a baby. But, it is now time and I have to accept that you are now a big girl. I wish you luck because you are still not too keen on the idea but you can do it! You are a strong little girl and I love you so much!
