Holiday Bop

dearest Hailee Bop. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! You are so excited about Santa Claus coming to our house. You have been asking for days if it is time to open presents and you run around saying "Merry Christmas!"

We have been very busy as usual. Over the weekend, Mommy had a horrible sore throat but feels much better now. Unfortunately, you had a bit of an ear problem on Sunday with lots of pain. we had an appointment for a check up today to see how your little tubes are doing. Well, sure enough, your tube in the right canal has fallen out. Any guess what, you have an ear infection! Of COURSE! Just our luck. The doctor said that we need to keep an eye on it and if you continue to get infections, you will have to have surgery again for more tubes! Not only do you have an ear infection, but an upper respitory infection...which means, antibiotics for you!

Dentist. In the afternoon today, you visited the dentist for the second time. You were asleep when we got there and were pretty cranky when the lady was ready to work on you. But for some reason, you liked the doctor. By the end of the visit, you were all smiles showing off your pearly whites.

As a reward, we drove by the fire station. And guess what, the fire men were outside. And then guess what, we got out to see them! Papa, Hunter, you and I walked up to see if we could give a money donation for the toy drive. They didn't accept money donations but they let you guys into the truck. Of course, Mama didn't have her camera cause Daddy takes the darn thing to work everyday because he needs to take pictures of food! Imagine that! BORING! I need that camera for you. At any rate, you were exhausted and sad to leave the fire station. You said you were going to miss them! :) Mommy brought you home to see Aunt Heathers shattered window. Then Nana rocked you to sleep. Then Nana and I ran to the store to get presents for the firestation.

When you woke up, you had two friends here to play with...Natalie and Miles. Mommy had some friends over for dinner and drinks. You were a bit clingy to mommy at first then you warmed up a bit. Unfortunately, once again, the camera was in daddy's car. Sheesh...good thing mama has a sharp memory to capture all the moments cause daddy seems to always have that darned camera!

Yesterday, we met up with Auntie Tricia and Natalie for lunch at Shore House Cafe. Mama was glad we were both feeling better cause the friends and the food were awesome. YOu and Natalie got to exchange presents. You gave Natalie a doll that swims in the water and wears a mermaid costume. You also gave her a PlayDough kit that makes cool looking ice creams! Nat gave you the prettiest dress up clothes and a very cute outfit from Children's Place! Mama was trying to get video of you in your dress up clothes but you were being kind of evil so I dont' think I will post it.

well, that is it for now. I cant wait to 1) steal the camera out of daddy's car so that I can 2) take pictures of you on Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning. You are so into Christmas just like your mama. I am glad you enjoy the fun festivities! I think were going to be great amigas when you get older. Sleep tight little firetruck loving, pearly white smiling, ear infected, dress up princess! Hugs and kisses!
