Up all night BOP!

So, you were getting over the Scarlet Fever pretty well. The fever is gone and the rash is on its way out. The only thing left is the sandpapery feel on your tummy, back and the bridge of your nose. We have been taking it pretty easy these last few nights. BUT.....you have been afraid of your room! You do not like sleeping in there at night, even with your night light on because it casts shadows on the wall. You said that there are monsters in the cage. I didn't learn what you were talking about until last night when Papa came over to watch the BCS championship game. IT is PAPA who was playing make believe monster with you and now you are scared to death...let's add your room to the list of....the shower drain and the toilet...you are afraid you'll be sucked down.
Mama set up your green pack and play next to my bed so that we could both get a little sleep...me without listening to you moan and cry all night, and you without moaning and crying! Last night was not good. ABout 1 o'clock, you started your tossing and turning and whining and moaning, even in your pack and play!
You see, yesterday, Daddy called me to come home from work because he found another rash on your body that was driving you crazy with itchies. He gave you a good dose of Benadryl, and I am starting to think he gave you too much cause it knocked your socks off! It looks as though you may have had a break out of hives! From what? I don't know. Dear Lord, on top of the ear infections and allergic reactions to medicines ...now we get hives? We can thank Aunt Renee for that one. She is the one who get the hives...just by looking at animals!
So, your nap, combined with your uncomfortable itchies and the monsters that really don't exist, kept you and I awake all night long! Now as I write this, you like peacefully asleep, curled into daddy's side! (It figures! ) Anyway, I love you baby bop and I hope you feel like a million bucks very soon!
