Happy 3rd Birthday Hailee Bop Ryan Hofmans!

Dearest Hailee,

Yesterday was your 3rd birthday! Mommy can't believe how big her little girl is getting. You had a Cinderella birthday party and it looked beautiful inside the house! But you, you were the star of the show!
You are so lucky to have such great relatives and friends! You received some great gifts and not only that...we could not have pulled the party off without the help! Thanks to Aunt Heather for buying and assembling the party favors and helping with last minute touches. Thanks to Auntie Marysol for bringing over the vacuum on Friday since ours in MIA! Thanks Auntie for the yummy pasta salad you made for the party! Thanks to Grandma Rita for coming over on Friday and making the macaroni salad and bean dip which everyone went ga-ga over! Thanks for cleaning the kitchen and messing it up again with fruit salad! Just kidding! The fruit was delicious. A BIG thank you to Grandma Leslie for making the scrumptous deviled eggs which Aunt Heather couldn't get enough of. :) Also for paying for the jumpy which was a big event at your party! Everyone loved it...some a little too much...but Aunt Heidi put a stop to that! Thank you to Papa Lynn who cleaned the fountain, hung the princess lights, and cleaned up all the things we didn't think of. Last, thank you to Daddy for fixing the backyard and getting it all ready for your party. He even finished cleaning up the kitchen while Mommy was trying to make heads or tails of your tornado blown playroom!
Bop, you are growing so big everyday. Each morning when you wake up, I thank God for having such a beautiful, smart, funny, adventurous, loving and playful little girl. I love watching your every move in life and am surprised with all the new experiences each day brings. I do not want you to get bigger but I know there is nothing I can do about that. Your last tie to being a baby is your binky...which we will soon work on getting rid of. Secretly, I love hearing the breathing noises you make when you pop it into your mouth or the way your eyes kinda roll and your face softens because you are soothed and relaxed with it in your mouth. It's going to be hard for the both of us when the time comes. Just know that I will suffer with you. :( I know you can't be my baby forever but I hope you never forget that you ARE my BABY! Here's to another year BOP!

Thank you so much for having us at Hailee Bop's 3rd birthday party. It was such a fun time seeing you and everyone! I just love watching all the kids together. They got along so well. It was actually a relaxing and fun time. You know how to throw a great party. I love you girls!!! PS-I saw the poker table at the end of the night....Garrett was upset that I did not call him so he could run over and join the fun!!
