Dearest Hailee,
We are now in the great state of Texas for the next few weeks. It has been fun, but a little rough. First, the time difference has you up pretty late. Second, the competition between you and your cousin Ashton is a bit difficult. You seem to be in timeout more than you are not in time out.
However, we are trying to focus on the good parts of this adventure. Mommy bought you a lifevest for you to swim in the pool. You and Ash have great fun in the pool together. You even venture out into the deep end but we keep a good eye on you. The little understrap on your life vest has rubbed you raw. We are trying to put lots of medicine on it to heal you and we are letting you go "commando" for the next couple of days in hopes to help out.
Anyway, our flight here was great. You fell asleep right away and woke up right before we landed. You loved walking around the airport with your little carry-on suitcase because you looked so important.
On the third of July, we celebrated by going to Coach Dereks house for some swimming and bbq and then headed to watch the firework show by the town center. On the fourth, we hung out all day and ate yummy crab legs for dinner which you loved! I literally could NOT get the crab cracked out of the shell and on to your plate fast enough. You just would grab a handful of it and shove it in your mouth. Then we went night swimming with Chelsea, Ashton, and Auntie.
Going back a few weeks.....
In the past few weeks, we were lucky to spend some time with Natalie and Trisha at Disneyland and also at Auntie Tiffany's house. We can't wait to visit the beach with Natalie when we get back to California. At Auntie tiffany's house, you got to hold baby Katie and play in the little pool. You guys were so cute!
Aunt Cici's birthday was on the 20th. We went to her house to celebrate and of course we ate some great food. We hope Aunt Cici starts to feel better. Here is a picture of us with Grandma Leslie....I wonder what she is thinking??? :)
Last, we said "see ya soon" to Ms. Cindy, your babysitter for the last 2 years. She was a GREAT caregiver and we always felt you were safe in her care. Now you will be taken care of by Nana Rita and Papa Lynn. Hopefully they do not quit their jobs as your caregivers! LOL! Just to keep them a bit sane, we will enroll you in pre-school a few times a week. It will help you stay smart and develope good social skills (hopefully!).
Well Bop, that is all for now. Will update as we move along! Love and kisses! Mama
PS Dear Daddy...we miss you and love you!
